Annual Marks Work Warehouse Display
2010 Theme "Nesting"
July and August 2010
Marks Work Warehouse, 152 Fulford-Ganges Road, Salt Spring Island
Each year our members create sculptural and functional work related to a theme and display the work in the Marks Work Warehouse Window. This is a wonderful opportunity to view the diversity of our members work and see your favorite potter stretch in new directions. This year we have a very intriguing theme called “Nesting”. Imagine cruet, salt and pepper sets nestling together, or an old hen sitting on a nest or the fragility of a nest conveyed in clay. Who knows what we’ll come up with! Drop and and see the display anytime, it is on view 24 hours a day throughout the month of August. If a particular pieces catches your fancy, the Potters name will be on the list and you can either find their contact information in our member gallery on this website or ask Marks for a copy of our list. Enjoy the display!
