Claire expresses her love of ceramics and artwork through many paths. An avid cook, she is inspired to create functional dishes of texture and color that compliments beautiful food. Through the use of her downdraft kiln she creates decorative smoke fired pieces, each one unique to the process. Through her passion for sculpture she continues to push boundaries by creating fun off-beat artwork. She takes part in collaborative medium shows including combined ceramics and basketry with fellow artist Judy Goodman.
