Anne Bryne
Anne Byrne
Anne began working with clay in the late 1970's following pottery classes at Bear Creek Art Centre and Kwantlen Polytechnic University Fine Arts Program in Surrey, B.C. where she was a recipient of the Olea Davies award from the B.C. Potters Guild.
Retired from nursing, now living on Saltspring Island, Anne is a full time potter working from her home studio. She produces functional stoneware gas-fired in a large reduction kiln. "My emphasis is on pieces for table use, frequently embellished with dragonflies and local sheep of my own design for enhanced enjoyment."
